Within the support from Internews, YoWDO implemented the My Turn to speak project, A project geared to amplifying the voices of youth with disabilities, Promote the inclusion of persons with disabilities through media houses. The project implemented an advocacy session and training with the media house management. Ten media focal points were established to addressing and championing issues of persons with disabilities.  An online campaign was conducted and the project also developed a booklet on decent language for persons with disabilities accessible

YOUTH WITH DISABILITIES IN LEADERSHIP PROJETC. Through the support from Abilis Foundation, YoWDO organized a TOT training to the YoWDO team on organizational development, organizational change management, social media engagement and youth adult partnership. The project further conducted the training with leaders from 7 Organizations of persons with disabilities on leadership and youth adult partnership and seven youth wing was established in the seven OPDs. Through the project, 7 OPD youth wing leadership were established.
